Accoya lumber is a 100% non-toxic process used to turn ordinary plantation grown radiata pine into a product that termites cannot digest- seriously. In addition to termites not being able to eat away at this lumber, it will not rot or decay and comes with a 50-year above ground warranty. Because the process changes how the lumber absorbs moisture, it becomes extremely stable so any coatings (paint and stains) will last exponentially longer than on standard treated lumber. Abodo Vulcan decking and cladding is harvested from plantation grown radiata pine (same starting lumber as Accoya) but thermorized instead of acetylated into a beautiful chocolate brown color. The siding and cladding is cut and laminated for stability and visual effect and available in either a resawn or brushed face that is able to be finished in multiple different colors of protector oil. The decking material is cut and milled with a combed face that is a perfect (meet in the middle/solution) for affordability and style.
